Objectives

Fund, manage and carry out research activities as contained in the Construction Industry Transformation Program (CITP 2016-2020)
Offering test and laboratory materials for heavy structure engineering and building materials that focus on IBS structures and components
Establish R&D cooperation with stakeholders in the domestic and overseas construction industry (Industry Stakeholders)
Earn funds and offer ventures for R&D activities and programs
Distribute the latest technology and R&D products to the national construction industry players through promotion, patent and commercialization.

Our History

2004

Establishment of CREAM

CREAM was established on 26 March as a limited company under the Companies Act 1965

2006

Fully operated

CREAM operates fully as a company

2009

Makmal Kerja Raya Malaysia (MKRM)

Establishment of Makmal Kerja Raya Malaysia (MKRM) by CIDB. CREAM operations moved to Jalan Chan Sow Lin

2011

Certified with ISO 9001: 2008

CREAM is certified with ISO 9001: 2008 for Quality Management System (Scope of R&D Management)

2012

Accredited ISO / IEC 17025: 2005

MKRM accredited ISO / IEC 17025: 2005 (Scope of materials testing)

2015

CREAM Certification Service (CCS)

Establishment of CREAM Certification Service (CCS) for Ready Mixed Concrete certification

2016

Wholly Owned Subsidiary

CREAM is structured as a wholly owned subsidiary of CIDB.

2017

Center for Advanced Construction Technology and Innovation (CACTI)

Establishment of Center for Advanced Construction Technology and Innovation (CACTI) as well as the Center for Quality Assurance and Certification (CQAC)

2018

CREAM New Headquarters (HQ)

CREAM operations move to Level 29, Sunway Putra Tower.
CREAM Certification Services accredited by DSM for MS ISO / IEC 17065: 2012.

2020

Environmental Quality Development Program (QE / 5S)

CREAM has been accredited and recognized by the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) for the Environmental Quality Development Program (QE / 5S)
